The Hamburg school: midpoints on a 90° dial rather than aspects on a wheel.

The 90° dial

Uranian astrology and cosmobiology

The Hamburg school of Alfred Witte added eight hypothetical bodies beyond Neptune — the transneptunians — and read charts on a 90° dial, where every planet is folded into a quarter of the circle so that hard aspects line up. What matters is not aspects but planetary pictures: equations like A + B − C = D, and half-sums, that connect three or four points.

Reinhold Ebertin's cosmobiology kept the dial and the midpoints and dropped the hypotheticals; the app offers both. Because a picture is easy to find in any chart, every one shown comes with its base rate, so you can see how far it stands above chance.

In the app, the chart With transneptunians carries the eight bodies; Planetary pictures and Half-sums are in the tables; the 90° dial is among the charts.
