The counts of days: thirteen numbers against twenty signs, the Haab, the Long Count. No planets at all, and the hour never enters into it.
Counting days
The Mayan calendar as astrology
The Maya kept several interlocking counts of days, and a birth takes its character from where the day stood in each: the 260-day Tzolk'in, thirteen numbers against twenty day-signs; the 365-day Haab of eighteen months and five nameless days; the Long Count that numbers every day from a creation in 3114 BC; and the nine Lords of the Night. All of it is arithmetic on the day, and the hour never enters into it.
The app uses the GMT correlation, which the daykeepers of highland Guatemala still keep unbroken, so your day sign is the one a Maya daykeeper would give you. Most "Mayan sign" websites compute something else: the Dreamspell of José Argüelles, a 1987 system with the same twenty signs under English names but a count that skips leap days and so drifts from the real Tzolk'in by a day every four years. The app shows both, labelled, with the drift.
The 260-day grid under the Mayan chart marks your birth day, today, and where the Dreamspell puts you, so the difference is visible rather than argued.
