Transits: why today is different

Video pending. This lesson's script and on-screen cues are ready for the render.

You will learn

  • Understand the outer ring
  • Use the date scrubber
  • Read applying versus separating

Transcript

On your chart page choose Today. A second ring of blue symbols appears outside your planets: that is the sky right now. Where a blue planet lines up with one of yours at an aspect angle, that is a transit, and it is what your daily reading is made of. Now drag the slider. Watch the Moon race around the wheel while Saturn barely moves. That is the whole idea of transits in one gesture: fast planets set the mood, slow planets set the era. In the reading, applying means the aspect is still tightening; separating means it has peaked and you are digesting it.
