Transcript
Look at the left edge of your wheel, the line marked AC. That is the Ascendant, the point of the zodiac rising over the eastern horizon at the minute you were born. The wheel is drawn so the horizon runs left to right: everything above the line was in the sky, everything below was under the earth. The top, MC, is the Midheaven, the highest point, your public life. The bottom, IC, is your roots. The right, DC, is the Descendant, the people you meet. These four are the angles, and a planet sitting on one of them is loud. The Ascendant moves a degree every four minutes, which is why we ask for your time. If you do not know it, we use noon and mark the houses approximate, but your planets in signs are still right.
