Astrologer Terms

Version 1.0 · effective 2026-09-11 · last updated 2026-09-11

These terms apply if you hold a Professional plan, publish a profile or take bookings. They sit alongside the Terms of Service.

1. You are independent

You are an independent practitioner, not our employee, worker, agent or partner. You decide your prices, your hours, how you work and what you say in a consultation. You are responsible for your own tax, national insurance or equivalent, and for any licence or insurance your jurisdiction requires.

2. Your listing

You choose whether to appear in the public directory and whether to accept bookings; both are switches you control and can turn off at any time. Your profile must describe you accurately. Do not claim qualifications you do not hold, and do not use another person's photograph or words.

We may decline, edit or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unlawful or breaches the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Your clients' data

Client records, notes and session logs you keep here are yours, and we do not read them except where we must to operate or secure the service, or where the law requires it. You are the controller of that data in your own right: you are responsible for having a proper basis to hold it, for keeping it confidential, and for answering your clients' requests about it. We act as your processor for it.

When someone books you through the directory, we pass you their name, email address, the birth details they gave and their note. Use it for the consultation and keep it secure.

4. Money

You set the price. We take a platform fee of 15% of each booking and Stripe pays you the rest directly into the account you connect. You must complete Stripe's identity and bank checks before you can take bookings; that is Stripe's process, not ours, and we do not see your bank details.

Refunds are handled under the Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and a refund reverses our fee too.

5. Conduct

Turn up on time. Cancel in good time if you must. Keep what your clients tell you confidential. Do not diagnose, treat or claim to cure anything. Do not tell a client to stop medical treatment. If a client appears to be at risk of harm, direct them to appropriate help.

6. No guarantee of work

We do not promise you bookings, visibility or any particular position in the directory.

7. Ending it

You can unlist yourself, stop taking bookings or cancel the plan at any time. Sessions already paid for must still be honoured or refunded. We may remove a listing for breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.

8. Liability between us

You are responsible for your own consultations and for any claim arising from them, and you will cover us against claims that arise from your work or from your breach of these terms. Our liability to you is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
